For the photo the camera angle was used going straight on, however the animal isn't centered in the photograph. The rule of thirds is shown through the spaces and the space taken up by the animal. There is a high contrast from the fur of the animal compared to the lighter tones of grasses in the background. This photo also has a shallow depth of field to make the main focus of the photo the animal, but to also blur the grasses.

Walden Pond
Walden Pond is a significant place because of all the history that lies within it and the ideas from hundreds of years before our time that people in todays day and age might not fully be able to understand. It is such a special place because of all of the lessons that it's admirers can take from it such as history, language, and science aspects. For example it is visually a beautiful place that is waiting to be captured by an aspiring painter, photographer or any other type of artist. From the literature and history aspect, it is filled with facts about Thoreau and his works, along with the poems and stories that have been inspired in this interesting landmark.
